How much do your services cost?

Every engagement is bespoke. Pricing depends on the scope, complexity, and depth of research required. We discuss pricing during the complimentary discovery call once we understand what you need.

How long does research take?

A focused single-line study can take four to eight weeks. A multi-generational family book may take six months to two years. A brick-wall consultation is time-boxed — typically two to four weeks. Timelines are part of every proposal.

Do you work with DNA alone, without documents?

Yes. DNA-only engagements are common for unknown parentage, adoption, and NPE cases. We combine your match list with targeted documentary research to identify biological connections.

Can you guarantee results?

No professional genealogist should guarantee results. We guarantee effort, expertise, and honesty. If a line cannot be traced, we tell you so clearly and explain why — and we never invent what cannot be proven.

What if my ancestors are from a region you don't cover directly?

We maintain a vetted global partner network. If your research leads to a region outside our direct expertise, we connect you with a specialist we trust — never a cold referral. See our Regions page.

Do you accept GEDCOM files from my existing tree?

Yes, and we often start there. We audit what you have, verify sources, correct errors, and extend from your existing foundation.

Is my family history kept private?

Always. We do not publish, share, or sell client research. Discoveries are yours to share or keep private. Signed confidentiality agreements are available on request.

Can you help with Mexican or Spanish dual citizenship?

Yes. We assemble complete documentary packages for citizenship-by-descent applications to Mexico, Spain, and Portugal (Sephardic pathway). Since 2019, we have guided more than 1,400 individuals through the Sephardic citizenship process. Portugal's pathway remains open but was significantly tightened in 2022 and 2024 — early consultation is strongly recommended. Spain's Sephardic window (Ley 12/2015) closed in October 2019, but we continue to support general Spanish citizenship by descent through other routes. Apostille coordination included in all cases.

Do you offer speaking engagements or workshops?

Yes. We regularly speak at genealogical societies, family reunions, cultural organizations, and academic institutions. Contact us for availability.
